How does a shoot with me work?

You tell me a bit about yourself and your family, and where you'd all feel most comfortable being photographed.

I share with you information and FAQs regarding what you can expect during our time together.

I bring with me inspirational photo ideas chosen with your family in mind, and you tell me which appeal to you.

We spend up to 2 hours together - Plenty of time to make pictures in multiple spots.

I encourage and guide you as much as you need.

I don’t use a flash. Natural light is soft, flattering and doesn't startle children.

I'm playful, patient and kind. I engage kids with toys and games, and I take flattering photos of adults. I don't judge you or your home - I'm focused on finding the light and making sure I'm photographing you all at your best.

You receive all my good shots: professionally edited high resolution digital files for you to print and share.

I deliver 6x4 prints of ALL your images to your home.

What kind of portraits do I make?

I aim to capture some 'classical' portraits as well as more 'lifestyle' shots of all those unscripted moments...
'Lifestyle' photography captures you in an informal, candid way. There is beauty in your everyday life and interactions:
I love photographing kids with someone who loves them:

Do I provide prints?

Yes. I'm a big advocate of printing and displaying photos. I deliver 6x4 prints of ALL your images to your home.

Your high resolution digital files will include a signed 'Print Release' from me; the photos are yours to print and share.

Do I post your photos online?

It's your call. I have a 'No Post' policy which means that I won't post images of you and your family online if you would rather I didn't.
